Dr John Pereira MBBS | BSC (MED) | FRANZCR
Dr John Pereira is a Paediatric & Interventional Radiologist at Prince of Wales Hospital & Sydney Children’s Hospital with over twenty years of medical imaging experience in both the public and private sector.
John brings a tremendous depth of knowledge and has held senior roles such as the Director of Prince of Wales Hospital & Sydney Children’s Hospital. John continues to provide a long standing Paediatric Imaging service at St George Private Hospital.
John holds a fellowship Paediatric Radiology and as a result of his dedication to the field is highly skilled in paediatric imaging including MRI (adults & paediatrics) as well as Vascular and non-vascular intervention.
Dr Arnold Kang MBBS | FRANZCR | DABR | DABNM
Dr Arnold Kang graduated from UNSW medical school in 2002. He completed his Radiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital and Westmead Hospital in Sydney.
In 2010, Dr Kang moved to the USA to obtain further Fellowships in Neuroradiology, Body Imaging, Oncology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle. During this time, he also worked as a private practice radiologist and became board certified by both the American Board of Radiology and American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
Arnold has presented at numerous international radiology conferences, has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has authored book chapters.
Dr Behnam (Ben) Moharami MBBS | BSC (MED) | FRANZCR
Dr Behnam (Ben) Moharami graduated from Shahid Beheshti University Tehran in 2004. He arrived in Australia in late 2006 and had the opportunity to work as Resident medical officer and Basic physician trainee in more than 10 public hospitals in NSW including Concord hospital and Royal North Shore where he completed his Physician training in 2013. He also completed his Graduate certificate in Medical Radiation at the University of South Australia in 2013.
In Feb 2013 Ben was appointed the Radiology Registrar at Sydney South East area health services and had the opportunity to work at Wollongong and Prince of Wales hospitals before completing his training at St George Hospital in Sydney 2018. He continued at St George hospital as a VMO and completed a musculoskeletal fellowship in 2019 at I-med network.
Ben has experience and interest in Musculoskeletal and Body Imaging, non-vascular intervention including image guided biopsy as well as a great experience and interest in Spinal imaging and intervention.
Ben has now joined Shire Imaging as a partner and brings excellent experience to the team.
Dr Dharmesh Modi MBBS | FRANZCR
Dr Dharmesh Modi graduated from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in 1994. He trained in diagnostic radiology at St George Hospital completing his training in 2008. He went on to complete a 2 year fellowship in breast imaging including MRI at Royal North Shore Hospital in 2010.
Dr Modi went on to hold a staff specialist role at both St George and Sutherland Hospital whilst being heavily involved with Breast Screen NSW until 2012.
He is currently a staff specialist at The Wollongong Hospital being the sole provider of all Breast Imaging services including interpretation of mammography and breast ultrasound plus all stereotactic core biopsies and hook wire localisations.
Dr Adam Gardiner MBBS | FRANZCOG | DDU
Dr Adam Gardiner is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist now solely practising in diagnostic ultrasound. He is a medical graduate of the University of Western Australia and undertook his specialty training at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney.
Adam undertook a fellowship position in medical imaging at the Royal Hospital for Women which was followed by a fellowship in 2016 and 2017 at the Necker-Enfante Malade Hospital in Paris. This is one of the largest Fetal Medicine units in Europe with particular interest in complicated multiple pregnancy, congenital CMV infection and fetal MRI.
He is currently a locum staff specialist in the Department of Medical Imaging at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney, a Visiting Medical Officer at Westmead Hospital as well as being engaged in private ultrasound practice.
Dr Glenn McNally MB | BS | FRCOG | FRANZCOG | DDU | COGU | FAICD
Dr Glenn McNally is a specialist obstetrician & gynaecologist who practices solely in diagnostic ultrasound and is a RANZCOG certified subspecialist in ultrasound. He trained in Sydney, Glasgow and Vancouver and is currently Director of the Department of Medical Imaging at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney as well as being engaged in private ultrasound practice.
He has served on many boards and committees including time spent as President of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine. He has a long standing interest in education and improving general standards of practice in diagnostic imaging.
